In May of 2015, my brother was tragically murdered in the small town of Alpena. My family gave the funeral home specific instructions not to allow the murderers family to attend the funeral under any circumstances (understandably), and also requested to reject any floral or plant arrangements sent by them. The funeral home did not respect our wishes, and after we had all left for the day, they allowed the murderers sister to come in a pay her "respects". She was the last person to see my brother, when that should have been reserved for my mother and his fiance. They also called the police on my other brother who was grieving the loss in the parking lot with friends, they weren't even causing a scene. This funeral home was incredibly disrespectful to my late brother and my family members and I would never recommend them to anybody going through a loss.
Tom and Sharon made a difficult task so much easier for us. I promise you that you will be so happy with the services they provide! Their genuine concern and TLC are unparalleled. To say that they go "the extra mile" is an understatement!
My family and I were very pleased with Tom and the staff. Tom was very caring, compassionate and understanding. I know that Tom took exceptional care of my husband. I appreciated it very much. They are awesome and wonderful. Words cannot say I feel about them. I am so grateful that they were so patient, caring and understanding. Thank you all so very much. It means the world to me that you all took care of my husband, Scotty and treated him with such care and respect. I am so pleased that my mom and dad had stopped in and had talked with Tom about their services. Thank you. It was a positive experience in this very trying time for our family.

Tom and Sharon are very caring people. They definitely are in the right business. They had my mother looking absolutely beautiful. They did very well with my brother and me when I had limited funds to work with. The headstones I got from them are beautiful.
Tom and Sharon McWilliams couldn't be nicer or more trustworthy people. Every exprience and encounter I have had with them has been a positive one. Their funeral home is such as asset to our community and they have treated my family with the utmost respect and dignity in our times of loss.
